Do we need to sign a contract before students use Addie?

You don't need to sign anything to start chatting your own student data is free. A school agreement comes in when you're ready to turn Addie on for your students across the year; that's when we set the roster, data path, and first workflow."

What's the difference between chatting with Addie and student conversations?

When you chat with Addie, you're asking questions in plain language about your students' records, free-form, whenever you like. Student conversation journeys are different. They're guided, goal-based conversations your students work through, and what students share in them builds the ledger that Addie draws on. Chatting with Addie is free. Student conversation journeys come with School Launch.

When does the 12-month term begin?

The 12-month paid term begins on the agreed student launch date, not the day your team first sees the guided demo.

Do counselor and administrator accounts cost extra?

No. Counselor and administrator accounts are included. Pricing is based on the student cohort.

Do we need SIS integration to launch?

No. We can launch with a roster upload or CSV. SIS integrations such as Veracross, Blackbaud, or PowerSchool can be used when available and appropriate.

Can Addie use our existing questionnaires or artifacts?

Yes. Addie is strongest when it connects to work your students already need to complete: junior questionnaires, brag sheets, parent forms, college-list worksheets, essay direction, Common App materials, or recommendation-support documents.

Can we start with one grade or cohort?

Yes. Most schools should start with a defined cohort and a clear first workflow. The key is that the launch is intentional, not a few ad hoc student accounts with no timeline.

Do you offer multi-year agreements?

Yes. Multi-year agreements are available and can lock in preferred early-partner pricing.
